Louisiana Physical Therapy Association

Welcome to the LPTA Student Special Interest Group page! The SSIG was formed through a collaborative effort of current LPTA Student Class Representatives from PT/PTA schools around the state. The Louisiana Student Special Interest Group serves its membership as a vessel for communication, a tool for creating professional relationships, and a platform to promote and educate students across Louisiana on the interests affecting its members. Over 100 students from across the state signed the petition to form the group and the LPTA Board of Directors unanimously voted to officially establish the group at the Spring 2008 LPTA meeting.
